Living Awake: Curiosity & Creativity

Saturday 4 May from 10.30 am to Sunday 5 May 6pm

In person creative workshops - splashing around with presence with colour and doodles.

Sheer joy and play. Healing and fun.

Explore the possibility of feeling free to be as you are, welcome  in the midst of all and every moment of your life, the messy and laborious, creative and free, nothing to fix or change, nothing to sort out or become - an opportunity to touch that place of already enough-ness.

Curious, creative, connected.

I’ll be running the workshops here in South Devon. Next retreat weekend is May 6-7. Small groups only.

The feedback from even this abridged version was very positive.  One participant said:

“This is the workshop that works on every level: it introduces non-artists to the joys of simple, fun and judgement-free creativity; it gives beginners the chance to try out techniques that will broaden their practice; and it reminds the experienced artist of the looser, free-flowing creativity they thought they’d lost.  Katheryn’s ability to effortlessly combine instruction, inspiration and pure fun is positively spooky!”

And that’s exactly what I offer - something that works for people of mixed abilities, and which connects us with our depth of presence. We come together to remember we are always, already enough. Creativity, time listening in nature and

When I am among the trees,
especially the willows and the honey locust,
equally the beech, the oaks, and the pines,
they give off such hints of gladness.

I would almost say that they save me, and daily.
I am so distant from the hope of myself,
in which I have goodness, and discernment,
and never hurry through the world
but walk slowly, and bow often.
Around me the trees stir in their leaves
 and call out, “Stay awhile.”
The light flows from their branches.
And they call again, “It’s simple,”
they say, “and you, too, have come
into the world to do this, to go easy,
to be filled with light, and to shine.
